Thumbs up

Excellent!!

The judge said the new zones are unconstitutional to boaters.

This is a very important precident to set.

If it's unconstitutional in Lee County, it's also unconstitutional everywhere else!

Let's hope a manatee clause isn't snuck into the constitution.

BD,
That's what I'm thinking, every little win, shoots one more hole in the $MC story!

ALLLLRIIIGGTHHHHH!!! Remember, even the little offices help the cause. Remember the attempted election stealing my the dems in 2000. Any victory is a great one. Looks like the reasonable folks have won one.....

At commission headquarters in Tallahassee, spokeswoman Angie Raines said the agency had no immediate plans to stop ticketing those who speed in protection zones.

Schoonover’s decision was the second time manatee regulations for the county have been ruled “arbitrary and capricious.” A state hearing officer said the same thing in December 1995 when she ruled a state proposal for the county invalid.

Sound to me like they are going to do wha they want anyway
Your law is unconstitutional but we aren't going to stop enforcing it! What a bunch of BS. Congrats on the victory, at least it is a start.

I wonder if that could be used as case law to overturn the new no entry zones that just went into effect here?

VonBongo: If they continue to hand out tickets that they have been told are invalid and or unconstitutional, I wonder if you could get them for harrasment?????
