I enjoy the hate from people that will never use this application.

It's the old man yelling at the sky thing here. God forbid they push limits and ideas for other boats than power boats.

Not hate Nate, just stating opinions and in the case of weight facts. 1300lbs per motor is a lot.

Will they sell, of course. Does that mean everyone has to like them or think its the best thing ever.

No.
I would say it is hate from the comments.

Yes it is a lot of weight but these are never going to be or where modeled to be for a boat like on this site. You don't think the target company's for these engines (HCB, Scout, intrepid, etc) didn't talk to merc about all this to assure things work on both ends from boat to motor?

I mean people can dislike it all they wish....I am sure they will never be the target audience anyway in terms of what type of boat is is designed for.
