$70 in VA Beach to fill up the Hellcat today and it has a small tank compared to some. 2019 average was $50.
For me this just pisses me off; a thorn in my side. But what about those that have to decide on fuel to get to work versus food. Going to hell in a fuk’n hand-basket. Oh wait, it already was going to hell in a hand-basket. Now it’s just that much worse. |
He was lucid enough to pick the best possible insurance policy against the 25th amendment.
But he keep that same line of reasoning when picking his god awful cabinet. |

Biden is a babbling communist idiot.
This country needs a civil war before it goes the way of Communist . Something I know from personal experience. My parents who escaped Czechoslovakia in 1984 can`t believe the censorship, erasing history, silencing opposition, shutting down websites and punishing companies who do not tow the line... The government overreach, propaganda coming from the media, , more like government TV. They`ve seen all this before. My Dad was in the Army when the Russians came over to squash a revolution in 1968. Been there done that and had to escape , now where do we go? What`s happening to this country may seem okay to those who haven`t lived thru Communism, my parents can`t believe their eyes. |

This should be interesting. Inflation worries can become self fulfilling prophecies and the lefties are hell bent on stepping on the gas. |
Here's what I find funny about these gas prices, neither Biden nor any of his supporters will take claim for the current fuel prices. Oddly enough if prices were going down they would be chest pounding all over the national news and social media saying that they made it happen. Funny how that **** works.

Hello,
A couple of years ago the prices went up a little and everyone was blaming Trump. I admit that I don't know all the reasons for the price increase, I do know that Biden is getting off easy. |

I hope the gas hits $10.00 a gallon, since I'm going to be back into the boat market next year I'll take advantage of those fringe buyers who bought in this frenzy and now have to dump them. Sorry to wish bad times on my brothers but I NEED A FRIGGIN BOAT. Of course after I get one I'll be back on whatever train brings prices down LOL.
|
I'm just really glad that the $4 or $5/gallon price never happened. I can live with $3/gallon. Right now in Michigan it's easy to find gas for $3.05.

i fueled at 5$/gal on lake champlain in ... 2011 if my memory serves me right...
this summer in kingston i fueled at 1.78$ per liter wich roughly gives 6.72$ per gal in cdn so... 5.38$ US per gal ? and this morning i saw a post in the US at 6.44$ / gal... |
Fuel is up globally, demand is high - prices are higher
|
SOS ever since I started driving many years ago. The president in office gets the blame even though prices are worldwide! Heard the same thing back in the 80's with gas shortages and lines.

Gotta love the liberal spin, blah blah supply and demand blah blah. while that is certainly true for mocha soy lattes, skinny jeans and rainbow flags, bottom line is 1 year ago we were energy independent, today we are begging the arabs to increase production so we can buy more from them.

SO yea supply and demand and other producers have dropped there output. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/Le...s=mcrfpus2&f=m |
If the dumbass in office didn't shut the pipeline down and halt other exporting oil the prices would still be low as the competitors would be forced to lower prices. We don't need anyone else's fuel but here we go again with the big green **** show!!!

Don't know if you are calling me a libtard or not I was just going off of data and the fact that oil is a global market. Not like we keep our oil, at times we have been one of the largest exporters and importers. That said, looks like we are producing just as much as last year since May 2021.

Dont know you, and I am not calling you out specifically. What I am saying is that liberals love to to find reasons why things are what they are instead of accepting the facts of the particular situation. In this case, nearly everyone knows the harris/biden administration took very specific steps to shut down productivity of domestic oil supply, thus making us once again dependent on oil from foreign countries, that hate us and want to destroy us. I have also noticed that liberals love to put little hotlinks in their posts to direct you to a website that supports what they have been posting.

Question for the California members here... what are your gas prices today? California has always been way higher than other states, WHY?
Pennsylvania is 0.184(Fed) and 0.59(state) = .77/gal |
You ain't seen nothin yet with beef prices, their the lowest their ever going to be . Currently a buttload of cattle is being brought to market right now because the drought created hay and grass shortages and the price of corn is through the roof so the ranchers can't afford to feed them. The current high cost is passed on fuel and transportation costs.
Next year with the coming cattle shortage you will see $10 a pound hamburger meat. These are the current national dry van rates. Van rate has traditionally been %20 lower than opendeck. Now van is %20 more , but good luck trying to find a good used or new van trailer to buy. https://www.dat.com/industry-trends/...national-rates year to date rates https://www.dat.com/industry-trends/trendlines |
Gas taxes.
And that's another reason the freight backups in the Ports will continue . No sane truck owners will haul out of California for the Crummy rates it pays than on top of it have to pay 30% more in fuel . |
love this thread
