Default Sea Ray Gets Automotive-Edgy—But Stays Curvy—With New 370 Sundancer Outboard Model

A brief departure from the speedonthewater.com norm, but a worthy one. https://www.speedonthewater.com/sea-...utboard-model/

Pretty neat boat. I was a big fan of the Sea Ray Venture model with the integrated outboards that remained hidden. Great use of engine bay and decent speed. This one is like a budget model of the Formala 380SSC.

I didn't expect to like what I was about to click on there.

The boat looks great. And I personally really like the thought of outboards on a cruiser that one might keep in the water. You can tilt them up and flush them completely, and they will stay relatively salt unaffected; until the next time you take it out for the weekend.

I am really relieved you said that because the boat is outside what we usually cover. But when I saw the renderings for the 370, followed by the images, I was intrigued. (And OK, it helps that the images are excellent.) I also thought it was cool that Sea Ray's designers collaborated with Designworks of BMW. It shows in the finished product—my take, anyway.

I liked how the venture had the OB covered up and the central walkway. I realize with trips that’s not an option. Hopefully it sells better for them than the venture, seems like it really never caught on. Maybe it was too early.....

Road and drove one in Newport Beach this last weekend! Awesome boat! We have 3 on order so far! It's great with the open bow and all the room and even has cockpit air conditioning! We are a dealer in Arizona. You can see more information at Octanemarine.com.
