Crockett had plenty of power to go faster. Not sure if the hull can handle it though. He doesn't even go WOT till about half course
I hope Tuff can get it done. Head to head competition is great.

Tyler has said that he only really needs the last 1/4 mile for his top speed. He just holds it steady until he gets to the last portion. If he could hold it wide open the whole time it would be a huge number. It'll be cool to see we he and Tuff can do at LOTO.

Is Tyler's Joker an old school Flat bottom or a stepped hull?

Flat bottom. It has to be one of the fastest non stepped, non pad bottom boats.

Tuff had a 28 Tuff w/twin 300 Xs OBs there that also ran into the low 120’s.

Faster than a 28 Skater there w/same power.

The Tuffs are bad ass vee bottoms!

If you watched them run, the Tuff's had a smaller contact patch in the water than a cat... that and the fact that Mark and his son can get the most out of the hulls.
