F250 and F350 single rear wheel are within ~$1500 of each other. I bought the F350 crew cab long box (hillbilly bed). I have towed 33 Formulas, 35 and 42 Fountains at 80 mph and never needed equalizer bars or air bags etc. The F350 rides a little harsher than the 250 but it does not need air bags to level it. Only issue I have is docking it at the grocery store... Would not consider any 1/2 ton for this even though it would work with air bags and equalizer hitch etc. 1st time in the mountains will tell you for sure. The diesel will just pull without downshifting most of the time.

Yes let me know, I also don't like carpet in my trucks but would like nice seats. I just talked with the VP at work and we picked up a new tradesman type of truck and he said the seat is very uncomfortable. But the guys we have driving don't care.
