The first line in Matt's article he states this boat was originally built by Gus (story back then Peter was building himself the boat as his first personal boat), which would make it the Miami show boat in 2012 (the boat with the purple/green interior). Gus did have the boat up for sale not long after delivery.....
Was there more than one boat painted in the same scheme and colors?

I am not trying to discredit Skater40, just trying to establish where the boat I perceived as the SLW mentioned in the article being the 2012 showboat seems to have 2 different timelines/ remodels.
BTW - Predator III is incredible - 12 points in a 10 point show

Predator III is the pinnacle of its namesake. In my opinion, there has never been a lighter, with more horsepower, faster, Skater in existence.

The Pics I posted of the 2012 Miami show was the first boat that I am aware of that was defined as a 388 SLW, that, at the time was very unique identifier to that boat (same idea as the 3 Platinum edition 388's a few years back)... it does not mean Peter didn't have a dozen orders for the same SLW lay-up after the debut... I'm just saying that for the press, there was "A" 388 noted as the SLW and it was going to be Peters own boat until Gus twisted his arm enough to own it

Each Predator is leaps and bounds ahead of the predecessor in terms of technology in the hull and HP he tuck's into the sponsons - no question there.
