Default Transom shower replacement question

Anyone know what brand this transom freshwater shower is? cant find anything on it and it looks like ****. I'm in freshwater so would never use it. Would like to at least replace cover but would really like to remove and replace with a chrome cap of some kind? Anyone replace their shower with something else? This is on an 03 Cigarette

Unscrew. Give it to a machine shop. They will index locate holes. Make it slightly larger then the original footprint. Seal it with 4200 and Machine it out of billet 6061 or if $$$Stainless Steel. You could Powder coat or leave it natural. Anyway, that is the way to cap it off. Doesn't need to be that thick, and you can eliminate it. Just my 2 cents.

What you could do is get a machine shop to cut a disc the same diameter as the outside dia. of the plastic shower, and radius the edge for a finished look.

Drill the three screw holes in the same location as the plastic... then you can remove the shower head and plastic housing somewhere as to not get lost and either tie strap the hose out of the way in the engine bay or remove it... but its available to reinstall if you sell the boat.

On a Cig transom, it always looks like a cheesy afterthought sourced from a base model RV camper.

Could be from ITC, if you were wanting to keep it.

I have the same problem. I forgot to have it filled when I had the boat painted last summer. I'm going to probably add a weatherproof remote for my stereo.

Good idea...or how about a remote engine hatch button. Waterproof of course.

Lip ship has a replacement but the hole has to be opened up slightly and cigarette put a piece of aluminum sandwiched between the gelcoat.
