Engine and Outdrive combination

I am new here just today. I am looking for information on whether it is possible to mate a 5.7 Mercruiser Engine with Volvo SX outdrive ? Any help is appreciated

an sbc is an sbc.... change the bellhousing and coupler, possibly the exhaust as well
