It's surly seeming that's what it is, a BIG project. I would just hate to see it sit there...

I apologize I'm new here how could I search up his thread i tried in the search box on the top right of screen. I didn't have any luck.

Don't feel discouraged, just be aware. There is nothing worse than to have your dreams of owning a offshore boat ruined by a project that takes up all your time and money. Everyone on here has seen it happen many times. That being said if you are aware and have the time and funds go for it.

Another thing to remember is you will need a building to house it in while you are doing the work. That is one thing many forget to consider. Good luck and post plenty of pictures if you decide to go for it.

I think the paperwork for the motors is completely irrelevant considering the boat has been sitting for 8 years and looks the way it does, if the owner can't be bother to put a tarp on it I doubt they cared about the motors.

After a full restoration it will be an amazing boat and based on the looks of it that is what it is going to need.

I would budget at least $80k to get that back to being an ok boat, and that is probably low, and about 3 years

You know what they say - take your budget and double it!
