THANKS ALL!

That pricegrabber.com really has some great info. Prices all over the range.
I'm aware of the need to format the non Olympus cards.
So are the Sandisk cards equal to the Olympus cards as far as speed read/write times?

Sorry, 1 more question...

What is a NAND card? The Sandisk has 2 choices for the 128. NAND being one of them.

Just Say N20'

Thanks for that tidbit. I don't see where any of the other brands mention the panerama option. Is that an OLYMPUS brand card feature only? Ok, maybe 2 more ???'s

Thanks

Olympus panorama

The discrete panorama mode of the Olympus camera (I have a C-2100) can only work with the Olympus Smart Media AND you pay $20-30 more.
You can create a pamorama without the Olympus card if you have a fairly steady hand and a photo editing (Paint Shop Pro- Photo Shop-Photo Delux, etc.) software program.
I get 257 shots with a 128 at HQ resolution and 90 with the Super high Quality (SHQ).

I shoot about 700 shots per race.

I use San disc and have never had a problem.
Amazon has some cheap prices for the San Disc..
