So for my first cat I have purchased a 2002 28 TD eliminator Daytona with twin 496 mag non Ho with Xr drives , 380 hours on motors ..... previous owner said best he had boat was 91 and 93 .... I have had 83 mph with 2 adults one child 3/4 tanks , but most the times low 80s is the best I can do .... the boat is used in lake havasu . Has 30 pitch 4 blade bravos ... are these what come from eliminator? Do these speeds sound rite ? Pretty much do 80 anytime ... I’ve read a bunch from this forum about x dimensions for drives etc , post are pretty old. I love the way she rides ,and I know they are heavy boats ..... in these crazy price times , I feel I can put some money into her , and won’t loose ... would love to hear some experiences with this hull etc . Thanks Frank

I had a 03. They like the drives high. Mine were on extension boxes with imco shorties. Atleast an inch above the drain plugs.
