The importance of stringers and bulk heads.
Any boats being made without stringers and bulkheads in the USA?
In Colombia none of the boats are built using stringers o bulkheads and they flex like crazy and are afraid to hit waves especially head on. Never seen anything like it. |

There are a lot of boats around the states that have stringers and bulkheads the consistency of fresh oatmeal, if that counts....

Colombia is about 50-60 years behind the states on boat building. They use roving and fiberglass mat. No fiberglass cloth used here. It’s crazy lol |
Yeah, my canoe. The floor was so thin and flexed so much that I glassed in a plywood floor. I thought someone was going to go right through the bottom!
