Default Big-Block Chevy Marine Performance (book)

Does anyone have a copy of Dennis Moore's "Big-Block Chevy Marine Performance" they are willing to sell for a reasonable price?

A friend of mine recommended this book which apparently sold for $16.95 back in 1998. Today I see them priced anywhere from $125 up to $950 ... and no one is buying them.

I understand times have changed ... I recently went shopping for a used truck and found a 1995 Ford F150 with 200,000 miles priced at $35,000.00. I decided I can only afford to buy new these days.

That said, I have Venmo, Apple Pay and Paypal ... I'd be open to trades too. I have moonshine, ammunition and plywood.

I Have the small block and big block books. Combined with several dozen 2x4’s I’m seemingly now worth more than most.

Any specific info you are looking for ?

So what's the rationale behind the increase in value?

I am planning a rebuild for a stock 454 Alpha ... I want to - for the most part - rebuild to OE spec. I spent some time working in a machine shop in the late '80s building these things. I want all the specs in a spreadsheet/plan before I start ordering parts.

I'll trade you 100 rounds of 9mm for the BB book

Maybe we could do a rental. Any long time member here can vouch for you ?
If not, maybe give me a wad of cash and I give you back some. Lololol.

Supply and demand. Has not been printed for many years. I'm keeping mine.

It has a lot of good info and specs for stock Mercruiser(black) BBC engines and info for mild upgrades.

Sounds like someone could make a few dollars reprinting if the copy rights are expired. I know with a lot of the Harley Service manuals there are tons of copies made from the originals. I bought a bootleg version years ago by mistake. It was colored copies but on a ring binder. The local print shops here copy books for really cheap.
