Haven't been passed yet but won't be long at this rate. Like just abt any kind of high performance vehicle, they're pretty cool. Unfortunately they can be operated by low-perf individuals with no clue of what's going on around them. I've lost count of how many times I've had to take evasive action to avoid hitting one of them.

I always get a kick out of it when a pwc thinks he has my number. Never been beat by one and usually it's not even close but last fall on Michigan's Cass Lake I was challenged and nearly beaten. It took all I had but I was faster and he was surprised. I don't remember the machine that he had but it was SC'd and modified and he said it ran 82 on gps. My Donzi runs 82-83 gps in most conditions. The day I get beat by a pwc with be a very humbling day!

Was with a buddy testing a small single engine cat. Jet ski pulls up next to us, we get after it. The boat we were on was good for low 90's, and the jet ski driver pulled away from us. It was a bit shocking.

What does a 135 mph Waverunner cost? I realize that sounds like $$$$$ in upgrade(s), any idea of the cost to make a Waverunner go that fast/have one built by a mod-shop?

(Luckily never broken a bone so far ...knock on wood) only thing that helped at the time was that it was very early in the season and lake Michigan was still ice cold....i must have floated in the water crying (yes i'll admit to it!) for a good 5min till the cold water numbed the pain
And like the Donzi...i did end up breaking my ski in half from the abuse it went through! LOL
Sounds like an adventure!!
