Definition of irony; a person owning a boat in what is by far the most overall hated genre of anything on the water (big block thru hull go fast boat), hating on another group of watercraft (PWC's).

We now have a ‘19 RXT-X. It’s actually the wife’s. I keep telling her we’re going to have a mommy and daddy day and lock a cooler on the back and just run up the river for an entire day.
I run ours in eco mode most of the time, standard is nutz, sport mode is insane. I tell friends that want to jump on it that it’s not like the old 90s or early 2000s jet skis, you have to respect this thing or it will kick your ass and you’ll come to in the water gasping for air 50yds away from it. Some listen, some don’t.

Stuffed/spun mine towards end of summer. Last thing I remember seeing was 72 on the screen. Foot fracture and a concussion later I have a new respect for that hull and speed. Limped around the next day in the Outerlimits… no seadoos for awhile 🤣

I have an old GTX. Great for lazy day ride around looking at houses and stuff on the water. Not a choppy water hull, but is dependable and cheaper to run than a couple big blocks. We also have a 25 tritoon with a 4 stroke Suzuki on the back. Good boat all around and runs all day on 1/2 tank of fuel.

In 2005 I went off a Seadoo (supercharged) when I asked the ski to go right. I wasn't prepared for how quickly it could turn. I exited the left of ski at 55 mph bruising my right buttcheek. I still have no idea how other than the impact from the water. Then I jumped on a race model with the higher seat. That truly scared me. Respect these rocketships or they will bite you. They are fun especially in rough water where you will need to stand up.

Not even close. Wake boats are easily and vastly more hated than powerboats. Hands down.
Thanks. Brad.

My wife and I run our Sea Doos on the local lakes and the big boat on Table Rock...so we get the best of both worlds like many others here have posted. Most PWC drivers are pretty cool, but like every crowd, there is always that ONE guy, that acts like he has something to prove. The Sea Doos are a blast on smooth water, but I dislike riding them in any sort of chop.
