Ran it on a 7.4L (310 HP) and didn't notice any difference with just the exhaust swap.
Transferred it to my new to me boat with a 502 MAG EFI. Installed a gen 1 FA with the exhaust. Don't know what performance was gained if any from the swap, but that engine ran quite well.
Swapped that engine out and am now running CMI headers on the new to me HP 500 engine.
Never had any problems with the exhaust after installation. During installation they sent me some hardware that was not correct for what I ordered. Hardin essentially made it right. The mounting brackets they sell for the gear shift linkage and/or ECM mount was pretty flimsy. I ended up making my own out of heavy gauge SS.
