Did anyone else read about Ruiz’s boat being repo’d for a miscommunication with the bank. Article said he wanted to make interest only payments for a period. Has his wealth suddenly grown or is he just another shady south Florida lawyer?

So as a business, making money is the goal. So maybe Cigarette is looking to do just that. Unless they wish to stay in the high-end market which shows many signs of diminishing, going with PWCs, then they might dilute their brand a bit, but that might make them money and grow their market share. If you look to the car market as a analog, all the super car manufactures are moving to some form of pure E drive, except Ferrari who is committed to the ICE with no plans for a pure electric car, opting instead for a hybrid. But that is kinda the point. Even Ferrari has moved to where the market is pushing them. So maybe Cigarette sees that the super boat market is getting smaller, so they need to expand their market? That would be my guess. Maybe they will focus on high end, big engine, super PWC models only. Think 9 ft of LS powered, 100mph widow maker? At least you'd be able to keep up with most super boats....
