Any time I sell something, I always give the person the benefit of the doubt, until it doesn't seem right. You never know who the buyer will be.

There’s something missing from the opening post……Are we talking 20 year old boat for 50k or near new for 400k?

Lots of good advice from members, as always, but at the moment, all we know is he or she (P.C.) wants a powerboat around 30-40 feet. Not much to go on. With limited info, I’d say the same thing I say to all new boaters, buy as new as possible with low hours and good maintenance records. Try to keep it simple, blue motors will need a little more love than black motors and ‘love’ is expensive. Lastly, survey properly before parting with your money.

It smells of Darr,
1st post, from Missouri /LOTO and
his typical sh!t stirring comparison thread

Whatever happened to Darr's chit box Skater with the cardboard bustle and hand grenade engines that lasted 12 seconds?

I helped my brother in law buy his first boat last year, a 2005 Sea Ray 40 motor yacht. Spend a few hours teaching him how to drive and dock and he never looked back.

My first boat is a 2004 28 Tall Deck Twin 750's and I still have it LOL
