We have a Donzi 33zx and really like it; the cabin headroom is really not bad and I am 6'2" -- we enjoy overnighting with two adults and two kids. We looked at a Powerquest 340 also ... it felt a little bigger in some areas but the bathroom was considerably more cramped than the Donzi fwiw. On the other hand, camper tops seem pretty common with the Powerquests and more 'custom' with the Donzi ... this is anecdotal only -- YMMV

Good Luck with the search

Welcome back! If you’re looking for overnighting space over performance with a camper canvas I would’nt rule out Baja’s 342 or 38 Special. Very spacious and a lot bang for your buck.

This looks nice and def in the budget. Maybe something I could get into and see if we really want to go this route.

Buy the PQ from GSC, looks super clean and exactly what you’re looking for. Holy moly do they take a lot of pics, love it!

The Powerquest and this Donzi fit the bill pretty well. Both would need AC, Closed cooling, and the PQ would need an aluminum trailer. Steel wont last long here in the salt.

Don’t look at the Donzi ZR’s. I owned the 35 and the 38. The 38 has no head room and when sitting on the benches in the cabin my head hit the ceiling and I had to sit scrunched down a bit to keep from hitting (I’m 6’1”). The 35 benches were lower and my head didn’t hit the ceiling. Don’t know why they designed them differently. If you lay in the bed you will be laying in a large coffin. From mattress to ceiling is around 2.5’ tall. Good luck on the search.

In for suggestions as well. In my opinion a lot will depend on how big you are and how many people you plan to regularly accompany you. I'm 6'1" 260 and prefer an enclosed head you can stand up in. If you are smaller or are ok with less room it opens up your options.

The Donzi ZR head area is pretty small but ok. You can’t stand up in it what so ever. I looked at a Donzi 30 footer one time and there was lots of room in cabin and those boats are very nice on the pocket book compared to other high performance boats.
