That's ironic! I was putting my boat back on the trailer at the Marathon Yacht Club (I believe that's what they called it back then) in 2000 / 2001, and the tide was out (the ramp had a curb at the end of it so as not to drive off the end). So, we were having a hard time getting the boat on the trailer. A large CC with a cabin in the nose rolled in, waited on me for a couple minutes and then, frantically, asked me what they could do to help me get the boat on the trailer... which we did. Afterward, as we were thanking them, my friend asked what kind of fish they caught. I still remember two of the guys looking at each other, when I quickly added....., "Snapper, I bet, right?" They replied..., "yeah... yeah, snapper."
After we pulled off, I told my friend there weren't ANY fishing poles, or related items, on the boat! LOL |

There have been a couple of 33' ATs built with outboards, both Yamaha and Mercury.
As Morry mentioned above, it's a 2000-ish model year 37AVH 'Excess' that was converted from the original HP500EFIs to outboards within the last year or two. That boat probably has 1500 or more hours on the hull. I know the original owners had at least 1000 on it, and the original 500EFIs made it to 800 hours. The boat was very recently sold. . in all water conditions. |

Isn't that 'Thunder Roy's" old boat? If so, It slipped across the dock from me back then, and was really fast for those motors. We both had 500 EFI's and my 38 AVS Scarab was regularly SMOKED by it,
