Did you get a survey? Baja built some decent boats. They also built a few with questionable construction. Even on a good one, you want to check for water intrusion and rot.

If its EFI scan the engine for hours dont go by an hour meter, my second boat was a 2000 272 with a 502 mag mpi, great riding boat, good luck

Ok welcome dont know your level of boat knowledge but being over 20 years old have the hull surveyed, ask for records, has the drive been serviced the bellows, manifolds, pumps and belts Salt or fresh water will make a huge difference over the 20 years. The boat is a great boat but it depends on how it was maintained.

I am having the hours scanned today. The boat is 7 hours away. I plan on making the drive this weekend. Leaving Friday night. He "said" the boat is solid boat. Still checking on everything. Thank you all!
