It worked, he just had to change a few things in the top end to sustain the longer run times at higher RPMs.
I used to want a 71/72 Chevelle with a ZZ572.
Now I need one with a ZZ632. I'm pretty excited about this motor.
I told a buddy about it this morning. He has ZZ572 with a single digit serial number in a 1968 Camaro Pace Car restomod, built by his father.
He is placing an order for a ZZ632 to have and to hold for whatever pops up next.

Pretty sure in the end he could never get it working just right. ended up pulling motors and selling boat. They were cool though and that thing sounded WICKED!!

If the 572 is $16k I would think that’d put the 632 at the current going rate for a low hour 525efi, maybe a littlw
more. But is there a version that doesn’t look like grandpa’s big block? Lol

Ron from Dynamic Speed and Marine put a Chevy Performance 572 in his Checkmate and he ran the snot out of it. I have to admit that 632 is peaking my curiosity, I would feel a lot better at 11:1 though. I would like to know what the valve train consists of first.
