New Advantage X-Flight Build
So I sold my 2007 X-Flight into this hot market last spring and ordered a new one. Basically the same design with a few updates. It's going to have a Merc 565 ITS package installed.
A pic of the old one and the new one coming out of the mold this week. Hope to get it in March. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8fae4c7090.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...b6d74f61a7.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...1b3cf6f16a.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...7b89efba44.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...79287fc906.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...37025abb11.jpg |
Very cool, exciting times for you

Way cool, is this the 27 or 29ft model?
How did you like your old one? Did you use it for watersports with the kido's? If so, how did it work? |
Thanks for sharing. Congrats

That’s a great boat for our lake. Only saw you out in the other one once.

Congratulations I always like that boat wondering if they would ever make an outboard version of it the way this trend is going? Just wondering how doe it handle in choppy water does it span the waves
One other question how do you access the port side of the engine were the walk thru is? |

One other question how do you access the port side of the engine were the walk thru is? Regarding port-side access, the rear walkway has an insert for holding bumpers accessed via a hatch. Take that liner out and climb down and you have easy access to the batteries and the port side of the engine. It is a really well thought out boat with a ton of storage room. Regarding outboard engines: I asked them the same thing a few years ago. They were not interested. I think if they put one out they would be swamped with orders - but then again they already are. They are hiring and can't keep up with production now. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...27b1a6b70.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...eb4d6fc34.jpeg |

With that big sail of a Bimini on my old one I never got mine over 65 - and that was in the Gulf. To me the 29 X-Flight is a terrific, sporty looking boat that is well thought out and comfortable. You can put a ton of people on it and have a great day cruising up the lake. In perfect conditions it can be a fast boat. But having owned numerous Fountains and now a ZRC, I do not consider it a HP boat. I call it my deck boat on steroids. :) |

The issue I am now facing is that I have to come up with an interior design. The old one was pretty much all white with a lame pattern on the hatch. I want something with more color but not too wild. |
