So I sold my 2007 X-Flight into this hot market last spring and ordered a new one. Basically the same design with a few updates. It's going to have a Merc 565 ITS package installed.
A pic of the old one and the new one coming out of the mold this week. Hope to get it in March.

It's a 29, same as the old one. I liked it well enough to order a new one. Yes it was great for tubing. It stays on plane at really low speeds - in fact they offer a tow pole for wake boarding.

Congratulations I always like that boat wondering if they would ever make an outboard version of it the way this trend is going? Just wondering how doe it handle in choppy water does it span the waves
One other question how do you access the port side of the engine were the walk thru is?

Regarding port-side access, the rear walkway has an insert for holding bumpers accessed via a hatch. Take that liner out and climb down and you have easy access to the batteries and the port side of the engine. It is a really well thought out boat with a ton of storage room.
Regarding outboard engines: I asked them the same thing a few years ago. They were not interested. I think if they put one out they would be swamped with orders - but then again they already are. They are hiring and can't keep up with production now.
