Looking for next Boat OB bow rider
Admiral has agreed to look for the new ride. Going to sell the Formula 27PC and Rinker 232
Looking for OB's at least twins.
Needs to have pump out head and windless.
Hard top would be great but ok with Bimini.
Looking at the 29 to 33 footers.
Love the Formula 330 but dang 500K+, geez a wiz
The Chaparral 300 OSX looks promising
SeaRay 310 SLX is ok

Wife and I have been looking at the Monterey 305ss pretty hard lately.
If I hadn't put new steering my Formula 292, and the market tanking hard, might have been talked into one.
Now, with my new steering, (and engines lol), I love my boat.
Anything I buy next: WILL have outboard and WILL have a joystick, and WILL have storage and a real anchor locker. If it doesn't have those things, it's a 100% deal breaker.
I just realized who posted this, I know that guy! lol
Anyway, we are also headed to the Miami boat show next week! Gonna get up close and personal with lots of boats.

Yep, we know each other on the Formula site
If ya see anything down there pass it on
Just need to down size. Use the Formula during hot weather and Rinker during cooler weather. If we go to OB's then no need to winterize when things get cold other then the water system.
Spending 300K is no issue so long as we get what we want

I was recently shopping for a new to me bowrider. Have a 23 searay bowrider currently. Settled on a 2018 crownline 275ss. That is still an I/o. However they have a few models that are OB. There is the xs that is a deck boat style with a nice V hull and the xss which is the traditional style bow. Largest they have is a 305 with twin outboards. The rest are 28 or 29 with single OB. I compared a few boats Monterey Chaparral Crownline Cobalt Searay all similar, just depends which style you like. Crownline prices are on the lower end for this group and I didn't pick up on any noticeable deficiencies. They all come with the same engines... Hone in on the power you want and on major features. Arch/ no arch, dual OB or single, mats or seadek, windlass or not, etc. I found what I wanted used, but was looking at new pricing as well. If your order anything now you probably aren't getting it until 2023. If I could have found the right boat I might have gone with Monterey. But this 275SS checks all my boxes and was listed a lil low I thought, so I went for it. Owner has been trying to reneg for weeks on our agreed upon price. Lol luckily I know the broker, so haven't lost it yet. Happy hunting. Shopping for a new boat is fun!!

Too funny…my admiral wanted a new boat too. 😉 So I was only too willing to provide one…my lucky 13. I had several go-fasts before going back to OB CCs. Best decision ever. Previous boat was a 36 Concept that looked and drove like a go-fast. That boat had a cabin, 8’ beam, and only weighed 5200 pounds. Why it was so much fun to drive! But…the admiral wanted wrap around seating in the bow and I wanted stand up head in the console. I scored a deal on a 2011 30 Jupiter that only had 345 hours on T300 Yamahas.
I see your budget is where mine was when I ordered/purchased my last go-fast…that I lost my ASS on. There are a lot of nice used boats out there. Gotta be quick to the trigger though. Good luck!

Same look at the cobalt R8 and the SC30, the Formula 310. I wish some of this Center Console crazy would slide over to a Dual Console My wife and I like wants a walk thru windshield and protection of them. along with nice bow seating. The top speed of most of these is mid 50, I want a little faster for some fun as well.
