Signed up for my first Boyne Thunder Poker Run, but could not get any local rooms in Boyne City. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay nearby or further away if need be? I've gone snowboarding at Boyne Highlands and have been to Petoskey, MI, but that is it.

Have you tried Boyle Mountain Resort? They have a lot of hotel rooms and condos they rent out for owners. Our friends have a condo we stay at so I never have had to reserve anything, I’m sure they fill up fast with how big the run now is, maybe there is a chance something is available...how many people do you have going?

My folks always stay here at the Americ Inn and I did last year as well. Perfect short drive and clean. Plans are to stay on the boat this year.

I VRBOd a house in town. It was the same price as the already sold out hotels. I booked it back in July!

We booked a 4 bdrm creekside condo almost 8 weeks ago and I was one of the last ones I guess.. things sure book up fast! I'd look at VRBO or call and get put on a cancelation list if they have one.
