Bought our first place at LOTO in 2002. Moved here full time in 2008. Its a great place to visit and live. Taxes are WAY less than we had back in WI. Being center of the country, traveling is always easy.
And..... waking up to this every morning, doesn't suck! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...119d659c0a.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d9cfc37ff1.jpg |

I guess some missed my comments. I'm serious. I have to pay attention to weather patterns for Lake Michigan. Winds out of the W-NW @ 15-20 mph w/ low pressure and s#it can get real in a hurry. I look for High pressure systems coming across from the plains for a couiple days before I venture over to Milwaukee. I run a lot of port to port, not just in and out of my hailing port. I need a plan to safely get back. I'm not too concerned about pop-up showers or if I'm going to be getting a good base tan. :)
Beautiful view bajaholic!! |
I had a place on Table Rock lake for years both are COE lakes designed for flood control.

So anybodys take on how long one should plan for to cover the area by boat. I could see spending a bunch of time and never cover all of it but with good weather would a week pretty much do it or longer? Just trying to get an idea for near future boating trip myself. |

NETFLIX Series Ozarks was filmed in Atlanta Georgia..
Lake Of The Ozarks is not a COE lake, it's owned by Ameren. |
ya my mistake, makes sense because the COE would never allow their shoreline to be full docks. The COE stopped granting private docks permits on TRL probably 40 yrs a go
