That said, you can also stick to boring lakes where you may only see a handful of other boats. Boy, that sure sounds like fun!

Sounds like heaven to me

Both are great lakes. Table Rock is clean and you can even dive. LOTO is not that clean however it has a great deal of bars on the water. Loto was and still is still a party lake. Table Rock is a peaceful lake, I am not a fan of Branson .

BB & BBQ is not going to be held in Fayetteville anymore. The venue has been moved to Rogers Arkansas. Also, has been moved out to the second week in October.

I heard the university of Arkansas would not renew their lease as of a couple years ago as part of the event was held of campus. Rogers is a nice place, with Pig trail Harley Davidson and an Indian dealer in town

Its a tourist trap for sure, there used to be a good steak house down in the old part of town they call the landing area, but I dont know if its still open.......I prefer Eureka Springs for a little get away

Yeah...Branson is kind of like a 'little Vegas' without the gambling. Lots of shows by both leading performers and those that are in the twilight of their career. Traffic used to just craaaaaaaaaaaawwwlllll along The Strip, but they've added several nice bypass roads that let you get around much easier now. Table Rock lake itself has some of the largest 'open water' areas in the Kimberling-City-to-the-State Park Marina locales. This is where the big boats (36' - 42' offshore style) tend to play..always fun to see them out. At least one turbine powered cat used to prowl there at one time. Probably the ONLY area that even remotely resembles LOTO, and that is a good thing in my opinion.

Branson, Like a million other lakes in the country, nice boating surreal and is a Core lake so very structured to what is available for on water dining and entertainment. Where people go to listen to country music and die of old age...

LOTO, Made for Performance boating, Rougher water on weekends, 200+ restaurants/bars and resorts to visit. LOUD: Performance boats.... and big cruisers. NOT quite and serene. Where girls gone wild got started, unfortunately that really no longer exists (Thanks FB)

Yes, I am prejudiced, and if you don't get my humor, you need to go to Table Rock...

As far as biking, Branson, area is very scenic, also head towards Eureka Springs, (Pig Trail, great riding!)
LOTO, not as scenic but much more entertainment with the bars and restaurants to ride to.
