Mercury / Mercruiser supply chain question
#11
Deliveries from Mercury have been sporadic. We currently have about 150 part numbers on back order, some as far back as May 2021. However in general we are able to fill most of our orders in a timely fashion..
And more good news- We received notification last week the Mercury is going to have an 8% increase May 15.

Curious on the DPX parts. Are you still able to get gear sets and inner prop shafts? I know the shafts were considered NLA a few years ago, but some old stock was still available. The gear sets, I had been told had old stock depleted and VP wasnt going to make/support them anymore? I had actually looked into/gotten pricing to reverse engineer and cast some DPX pinion gears, as that was always the weak point in mine.

Thats it? We got a notice one of our electric motor vendors is hitting us with a 30% increase!! Good thing we have other options available! Crazy times!
