I just registered my new one on 3/17, I wonder where I was at relative to the 1M mark.

Yeah, there was no trapdoor in the ceiling with balloons and confetti, so I knew I wasn't the millionth.

From 2002, twenty years ago.
After years on top, Michigan concedes its title as the number one boating state in the country to California, whose residents registered 1,051,606 recreational boats in 2002. Michigan is the second largest state, with a little more than 1,000,000 boats registered.

A lot of these numbers are dependent on what type and size boat requires a registration. For a number of years Minnesota required a registration for a paddle boat, some do for canoes.

.

I bleive it.

You'll see boaters in Miami area lining up to use the boat ramp before the sun even has come up. Local government should create more ramps and distribute along other locations

I wonder if that number includes documented vessels? Lots of those in Florida too.
