Yep as usual, wasting everyone's time.
On here, he has no clue as to his own boat. :hitfan:
Then he gets hostile and we're the idiots.
FWIW, by chance when I was Googling Senza Spectre pics, I came across an Iboat thread by the same guy from 2018 fighting the same issue, here.

Apparently he has no clue or he needs someone that does to get the boat squared away if there is an issue at all.

( I have a stepped hull but it has more than one, so am I allowed to talk?)

I’m really happy for you that you found a 4 year old thread. Actually you’re not lol, I don’t know how you can compare 2 steps to 1 step. Your boat is probably 1.5 longer with twins, the dynamics aren’t the same. You must be a really sensitive young man if you think I’m hostile. I really don’t feel like fielding your questions, all I want is someone with a hydrofoil and a single step, preferably a Senza Spectre owner to chime in.

That said your boat, steps or no steps is a single correct? singles are susceptible to torque which can cause them to lean. a twin has counter rotating props that counteract the lean. On a single slightly dragging a tab can help considerably. You need to take the time to learn the hydrodynamics of a stepped hull as there are some things about them that can get you in trouble really quick. You are correct in that they handle different than nonstepped hulls but you need to go a step further as to how.

yeah, specifically it’s aerated water but there’s porosity to that, it completely changes how it reacts to anything around it, it might as well be a pocket of air and yes, I know it’s physically impossible. I’m aware of the prop torque, that’s why I also put my battery on the drivers side to help with that. But I’m not here to prove how much I know, I have zero interest in that, just want the boat to handle better. I think this has been an issue for the other guys that owned this boat. On the back left of the transom, it looks like someone installed a single trim tab and it got removed at one point. It’s also the stock quicksilver 3 blade prop, wouldn’t a 4 blade be way worse?? The entire boat is setup from stock.

The hydrodynamics of one step vs two steps is essentially the same, it just reduces the planing speed to notice the effectiveness of a step design.

A single trim tab? That's a first for me.

Maybe try a drive with a counter rotating prop like a B3. Will help with torque steer and provide a little more lift.

I think the problem is you have a crappy designed boat and the owner is just as stupid... in boating terms you're whats known as an askhole, you ask questions and keep changing the question till you get an answer you want... so einstein, good luck w your tub, hope you dont kill anyone... let us know if you decide to go to any runs, so we know to look out for the ill handling POS, with the know it all behind the wheel.
