However, I sincerely hope there's someone around that is offering advice from the standpoint of established owners, ehhem - more mature shall I say? Good to change strategies and look at other avenues of revenue and revitalize and reinvent and change it up but don't forget about the established base. Seems the core base owners / fans of the brand are lost in the mix. Fore example, throwing all your eggs into the Instagram basket? Think I know more people in the boating community that hate social media then those that actually use it.

You're right....but 99% of young rich people aren't buying a boat steeped in offshore history. They're buying whatever the tesla yacht will be.

IDK depends on the definition or "young". I look at these speed on the water articles about some new cat owner or whatever and it looks to me that there are a good number of 30-40 somethings buying,,,,, to me that is young.

But I am a old Fu0k.

I tend to agree.

I think the whole concern about the future of powerboat purchases is really a moot point. Sales of performance powerboats are at an all time record high right now. Used market is out of control. Things ebb and flow and all things are relative but I see no shortage of buyers out there. Every performance boating company I know of can barely keep up with orders and are months and months and months out. Concern about finding a younger crowd because buyers are drying up or "who are we going to sell to now?!" just seems to be unjustified.

Yeah I am not buying any cig gear from them. 82-100 bucks for a t shirt and 60-90 for a hat.

thisistank 04-21-2022 02:28 PM

Ummmmmmmm, I hate to be negative. I TRULY DO!!

$90 for a trucker hat?! $90 for a T-shirt???

The prices are almost funny.

On top of that, I don't see anything spectacular. Just basic stuff.

Hahaha you guys beat me too it.

$92 for a basic long sleeve shirt 🤣😂

guess I’m not the only cheap one on these boards

The black Cigarette tee shirt goes well with bald heads and grey hair.

Madman7 04-21-2022 02:55 PM

Three items each for men, women, and kids...and outrageous pricing to boot. Epic fail for what they touted IMO.

I have a Cigarette and not brand loyal, I see these guys swirling down the toilet bowl.

BobbyB 04-21-2022 02:57 PM

The prices are nuts.
