So long to Wrinkleface; the original "fella"...
 

Sadly on May 1st we lost Tracy Nemecek, Wrinkleface on here from his love of Sharpeis...one of the funniest, most genuinly good people in boating. Doc T was a dentist and loved a few things, his wife Connie, his dogs and his love of REO speedwagon. one of his dogs was named REO. We meet a lot of people on this site, some good, some not so good. this guy was one of the best. even when things weren't going well, he had a cheer in his voice and he wanted to put your concerns above his own. I had him in my phone as Wrink, and i always picked up when he called. Tell the people close to you how you feel, you never know when time is up. I'm sad that my phone wont ring anymore with that name, but I'm proud of the fact that for many years it did. I will hold more than one beer in your honor my friend, thanks for always being you. I expected nothing less..
I feel like im missing so much about who Tracy was as a person, his selfless perseverance during boyne thunder in giving rides to special needs and underprivileged, he was the first to be there on this forum and others to help people. there is a line in the movie National Treasure, "people dont talk like that anymore". that was Tracy, he didnt just talk, he acted without talking. he was always character above emotion.. please feel free to add pics and stories. He deserves it.

Nice tribute and info Rob. Never got to meet Tracy but remember him on here for many years. Kind've surreal many of us have been on this website so long we're starting to lose friends, members and good people. :(

Speedonthewater.com will be working on something to honor Tracy this week. He was a character. He made the world more colorful.

And his dental office in Charelvoix had a view of Round Lake. Not your average office for not your average dentist.

He will be missed.

Tracy was a character. I will truly miss him and his antics. His phone calls were always a joy, and crossing paths was always a riot.

He did not pass from illness. There was a fall accident, and he was not able to recover. He just turned 62 last week. :(

Very sad and unexpected. He liked to call people Bubba lol! Was definitely a unique person! Very generous volunteering to put on and grow boyne thunder plus lots of charity rides.

Its crazy that ive been on this board (22yrs) longer then just about anything else ive done in life other then living! Or boating :D ;)

Out of the blue one day years ago Tracy calls me while driving up north. I have no idea how he got my number but we had a fun discussion. He did some kind charitable work for those with disabilities.

Prayers to all friends and families.

He was an OSO OG. He always had something nice or funny to add to anything on here. The board isn't the same these days, and that is one more gone too soon.

As a person, and a boater, he ranks very high on my list of good people. Prayers to all of his loved ones. RIP Wrink.

My deepest sympathy to Connie and Tracy's many close friends. We will all miss him. I have appreciated his good character and great sense of humour. He has helped me out many time during my Bpyne Thunder visits and glad he felt free to call me from time to time and chat about things "offshore" and some of our colorful characters.
