Understood...but, I also have a Fountain on a Myco and thanks to those lovely high X-Dims courtesy of Reggie, sitting on a level surface it's ok. But, just pull into or approach a steep grade (gas station, the top of an aggressively steep launch or driveway) and those skegs get real low, real fast!

My thoughts, why risk it?

Point taken.....even if YOU dropped the "E" in blond.

I air bagged the azz of my 1/2 ton to cure that.

Yes, it'll keep the squat at bay but everything else screams 1/2 ton.

there is no way that you are going to damage those skegs. unless they are taking this boat and trailer rock climbing.

We tow our PQ 280 with a 1/2T Avalanche. Best I can figure, boat and trailer weigh around 7K#. With the exception of the fact that it was built with the tallest axle ratio Chevy offered (that wasn't supposed to be available for 4WD), it does fine. Ride leveling airbags keep it level, it controls the load well, and stops it fine. The only complaint I have with it is that axle ratio. It struggles with the hills around Cumberland, but, otherwise, it works.

Thanks. Brad.
