New toy

I really need to stop looking at stuff for sale on the internet.
Bought this last night
Brief water test, a nasty storm was coming in so I didn't go far, but in the short time I was out I quickly realized that it is more than capable of getting my adrenaline pumping!
I had never even been in dingy before last night
200lb raft with a 50 outboard, going to be fun!

Was that the one in Michigan? I've been considering buying one.

It was actually 20 min from my home on ON, I saw it testing at Sauble Beach about 5 years ago and thought I needed one then but couldn't easily source one.

There is a group on FB for them in North America. I was talking to a guy in MI about one a couple weeks ago, but he ghosted.

I lost interest in putting my 17' Speedliner (like a Mini-Skater) back together, and finally sold it a few weeks ago. I'd been wanting to get one of these instead, before I'm too old to enjoy it.

I knew a guy in the next warehouse over that RACED those things. He was kind of a big guy and said that hurt in the top speed but helped a lot in the rough. He was a outboard mechanic by trade, seemed to know everybody in town but I never saw much work run through his shop.

I'm not on FB, but that page is open. Thanks for the link
There was a guy that wanted this boat in MI, but needed it delivered and the seller wasn't keen on the drive.
I'm average size (280) and me moving around a little last night made a huge difference on how the boat reacted.
I've seen some of the YouTube videos of these racing and it looks nuts!
I'm almost 50 and figure I should be able to enjoy it for at least 10 years and maybe, add a story to Wally's thread about surviving dumb$/!`^!
I fully expect to flip it at least once this summer.
I love two strokes

Keep me in mind when you are done. I want one. I am 48, and my GF has a 7 year old. He's keeping me young(ish). She wants a couple of PWC, but I've been there/done that. I think this would be a riot for us.

Will do, if I see another one, I'll let you know.
Kids will definitely keep you moving!
My girlfriend has a 20 yr old son, and I kinda got it for him as much as myself.
I have had PWC's for a long time (on and off since mid '90's), and I feel they have evolved to the point where they are so heavy and stable that unless you want to really beat on it, it's boring. I have a spark and enjoy it, but apart from doing spins and skipping sideways over waves, it's lost the thrill factor, I really want to try a back flip, but I'm terrified of really jumping it, for fear of breaking the plastic hull.

My son-in-law is a dealer for TAK ACAT. The kids love them. They're a lot of fun. Surprisingly inexpensive too!

Couple kids do that here with no help of waves. One of-them cracked a hull. Not sure from the flips or jumps or other crazy things they do. Since I’m not the parent it sure is fun watching them.
