dont care much about them beating the price but i feel better getting fresher tires from them then who knows what storage warehouse other tires may be coming from
what do you do about a tire warranty or service?

(knock on wood) ive never had anything more then a screw in one of my tires so i just plug them myself ...so far. I actually have a offroad tire repair kit in my truck with plugs and patches etc. As far as mounting and balancing them i use my local family owned alignment shop that has a road force balancer. I know its overkill for a truck but why not!
Never had any other issues besides that...if it was a defect in the tire it would show up right away and im sure Summit would stand behind it if i brought it up soon enough....

Called O'Riellys again and got a hold of someone a bit better at procuring parts. Warehouse wouldnt allow it to be ordered but he was able to xfer from 3 other stores to get a total of 16 qts (@$7.99/qt). Should all be here tomorrow. 🤞🤞

May order more from Amazon so I'll hopefully have it before the next oil change...

Received first 8 qts ok but second 8 qts was coming from another store abt 2 hrs away. Unfortunately, that store fell down, literally (old building). Got another order from the San Antonio warehouse. It came in then was sent back since they used my original order date. Then after abt 10 more mins on the phone, parts guy tells me they just received 20 qts !?!?!?
Finally have my oil and have 3 different label styles. The oldest bottle is probably 10+ years old. Crazy times indeed.

The store fell down. I’m sorry but that made me chuckle. Doh !

It seems sometimes at some points in our life even god or mother nature doesn’t want us to receive somethings or finish somethings no matter how simple it should be.

Here's the 3 different labels. If I'm reading the date codes correctly, the oldest is from 2009! They're all sealed so should be fine.

I appreciate your OCD.
But over a certain weight and brand of oil?

It's really more of a "don't like to mix different oils" issue since I know I'll never get all the old oil out. Some may say that's OCD and they may be right, but If it ain't broke, don't screw with it..
