Looking for a Mercury 8M8022200 BELT-SERPENTINE (Mercury shows no longer available) any ideas would help. Thanks

take it to a local Auto parts have them measure it probably 35 40 bucks out the door

i always went and got napa belts, they are made by Gates mfg much better quality

$140 for a belt. Wow ! Good job mercruiser. Wtf !
efit in: I maybe jumped the gun. Supercharger belt by chance ?

most of napa’s are gates. Just more money. You can tell if they are by part#.

sounds like Johnson controls…they make pretty much all the batteries just slap different stickers on

Off topic sorta but regarding Merc pricing, plug wires for a 496 are around $500 a set, Volvo 496 wires, same identical wires, $80 bucks a set, just say volvo in small letters. Did mine in the cruiser last year and didn't need the Vaseline when I swiped the CC.

Fits 1075SCI and similar -- so not a typical $40 belt, I'm guessing.

Makes no real difference. When I had my 525SC, the SC belt was $140 at Merc and $40 at Napa. Its still just a serpentine belt
