Default Bravo trim max at lower RPM?

Need to pull boat for prop change but river very low and must trim drive up to max or close. My question is this OK and what RPM should I keep RPM under? My guess 2K or less, I hope?

thanks

If you're trimmed into the "trailer" zone then you should be at idle... maybe barely above. The u-joints take a real beating otherwise.

Thinking your above half way

For me anything above half the prop is to far out of the water to do any good. I only do that at idle, less than 1000rpm.

I very good drive guy I used to know (RIP) used to say at idle just do not go past the horns. I have to trim up to get out every time, of course I am at idle, any more and it pushes the transom down. Never have had a bad Universal.

Yep, same here, I have to trim up into trailer territory to get in/out of the end of my canal. I keep dreaming that they'll dredge that someday... Probably move on to a pontoon by the time that gets done.

I had to trim to about 3/4 on gauge or maybe a little less. At WOT sweet spot on gauge is at 1/2 or less. Next time boat is out I want to get photo where drive was. Or... anyone have photo to post?
BTW, depth gauge only showed 2.5 ft.
thanks

A depth of 2.5 isn't that bad, if that's 2.5 under the boat. Full down the might be a tad more then that
