Default Gem remotes for boat lift

I need to replace a lost lift remote. GEM Remotes website says the remotes i need are no longer available so I need to upgrade to a newer system. Are there any other options?

Remotes are obsolete. You can use your cell phone now and control your lift from anywhere:

Agreed. This is the way to go.

But, I was really hoping there would be something like a $50 remote from Amazon and not have to spend the upgrade money at the moment.

Thanks, but no it will not. Those remotes are still too new for the system that's missing a remote.

Try a garage door company, sometimes they can add on a newer repeater that will talk to the older device. I've seen that on older garage door openers. That looks to be a remote designed off of an older style garage door receiver.

I had not thought of that. Thanks, definitely worth a phone call
