Howdy everyone,
I just bought a 1986 donzi 22 classic and I'm looking for some recommendations of shops in the Houston, TX area to work on it. It has a 434 SBC built by Express Engines in Florida so I'm going to need a mechanic that knows how to work on custom engines.. Also looking to replace the dash, steering wheel, throttle, stereo, etc. Anyone know of a one stop shop that can knock this out?
Thank you

Thanks Joe. I wish that was a viable option...
I wasn't going to mention this, but my boat has actually been at a shop in this area for almost a year now and it's hardly been touched.. Not having a pleasant experience at all, and at this point I'm contemplating paying for the little work that's been done and getting my boat the hell outta there. I need to find a shop with some guys who actually want to work. Please, any recommendations are mucho appreciated!

Been following, just not commenting... But... If you are looking for reputable work you need to be willing to travel, LOTO/Mid-West it seems. I have done business with many in Houston (grew up there, moved in 2013 to Dallas, now San Antonio) and other areas and unless you know someone who moonlights and has the "time" to work on your stuff or you are a high roller with the MTI's, Skaters, big money CIG's with open checkbooks you won't find it in Houston really. There are some good mechanics (notice I didn't say techs) around but you'll have to find them. I won't bash anyone or business personally but this has been my experience.
