hull was sold to the diver, he resold it and its in virginia now last i heard, i salvaged everything and still have engine and drive. may do another, but im kind of worn out on projects for a while.

I do not know him personally, but I've ran along side him in some real snotty LOTO Shootout water and several other times over the years in his previous boat. Previous boat was the same Make/Model, with a 525EFI/Bravo and I'd never seen that boat get out of shape in the slightest. The boat that sank was fairly new and had a 700/SSM6. From what I know and this is not 100% fact, it spun while making a midrange speed wide turn, and possibly hit a wake while spinning, which caused it to grab and then roll. To my knowledge, there was no hull failure prior to spin/roll.
That sounds kind of similar to the story about the Formula that sits up on posts, like signage, in front of Hilltop Marine near Cumberland.

it was under for 3 months, it was 83 ft down and it took that long to find a diver to go below 50 ft.
