Decided to buy a jetski. We have a houseboat on a small lake and I’ll leave it there during the summer. This will get me on the water quick and easy. Trailer the Fountain to my small lake and others a few times during the season. If I get tired of messing with the Fountain, I’ll leave it in the garage. Sometimes I really enjoy it, sometimes it can be a pain.
I know we all hate lake lice… but now we know a few of them from OSO are responsible lol.

I love my PWC's because I'm the only one I need to be concerned with. Being responsible for everyone on board the boat kinda sucks. Especially when everyone is usually drinking and do stupid stuff. On the ski, it's just me who gets hurt if I do something dumb.
JT, I hope you actually bought 2 skis. I usually recommend going out with a partner because stuff happens and that second ski can come in handy. If you're running small lakes, close to shore, or rivers, it might be OK, but big water definitely have 2. I've been disabled by the dumbest things on mine and needed a tow. Split a cooling hose once, Sand clogged a cooling fitting and I overheated. Wrapped a fishing line around my drive shaft and put a strain on my engine without ever knowing why. Until I took the ski out and saw it.
Didn't need a tow, but was severely limited in speed by a bottle cap one time and a stick on another, that was lodged between the impeller and wear ring. Ski would do 55 MPH normally and 5 with the debris lodged in the pump. So, however long it took you to get to where you picked up the debris, it now took 10 times longer to get back.
I see you bought the Honda. They are nice, but weren't in the game very long, so not a lot of support for parts. My dock neighbor has the non-turbo version and found the computer has failure problems. It cost him $1k to replace. Not trying to poo-poo your decision, just a heads up on what to look for. Good luck and enjoy the new toy.

If a 2nd makes since next year after owning this one for a while, I’ll buy another.
I did factor in Honda no longer making them but Honda makes a good product. My friend has one that is basically a community jetski. Has been sunk several times and runs like a top. Figured I’d take my chances.
