The Motec option will allow you to do whatever you want and it will be easy to make more power. It’s a game changer on the QC4V….big power is so easy.
Motec software can look intimidating at first glance but once you are acquainted with it…so simple and for a tuner and you’ll never want to use anything else ever again. I’m adapting to my engines. Something that needs to be brought up here is there,s a cool and unique way to drive a prop shaft....... ONX diesel outboards are using it with great results i think their larger hp model is over 300hp and it has a what looks like a blower belt from propshaft to tranny thu the inside of midcase they must be working as they have a great reputation so far

I ran into a fellow in summer of 21 who had 500r outboards on a 39 MTI......everyone I mentioned it to said they were just decals ....had a chance to chat with him a few months ago.....he told me they were prototype motors that Mercury put on his boat via MTI for real world testing...he ran the boat a year and traded....he said he never had a minutes trouble from them.....very credible person.
