I still have your Velocity 280 down here in Bradenton Beach!

70's Thunderhawk with a 25HP Envinrude longshaft. My dad bought it second hand in the early 80's for putting around Passamaquoddy Bay mid coast Maine. I was in my early teens and was in heaven for having access to a powerboat!

I remember at least at the dealer I went to frequently that all the 'Brunswick' boats they had were kind of ranked in order of - Bayliner, Maxum, Arriva.
My very first boat was a Baylliner 2050 Capri that I bought from that dealer in 1989 for $14,500. Kept it three years, traded on my first Baja (a 208 Islander) and they gave me...$14,500 trade in, lol!

Had a 70's era16' Browning Mustang with a 70 Rude very similar to this one. Family loved it! Sold it and the new owner promptly destroyed it.

I remember someone on here did the math on that boat.

Knew the design, cruising speed, divided by a 2 hr tour and came up with them driving it on the beach 15 mls from its home port!!

Hilarious.

Guessing alcohol was involved in figuring out the equation!

My first boat was a 17' Hydrostream Vassarette YT with a 2.4 200 on it.

My wife called it the "Death Rocket" lol.

Many moons ago, I had an Australian Bullet with a 2.4 and my brothers named it the “Death Boat”.
