Greg, this is a cool project for you to get going. Is there a story on the name and how do you pronounce the the Cov part?

The general area is called Harper's Hollow. One of our new wave (LOL) marketing guys came up with it I couldn't talk Adam out of it. It's pronounced with a long O. So still cove in phonetics

The current homeowners in that cove have been trying to get the NW approved. With our docks, and 52 more voices, we think we can get that approved as well.
If that gets approved it’ll mean fewer bouys for our end of the no wake to upkeep and maintain.should just need to modify the signage. looking forward to a bit more nice hardware idling past my place as well. |

interesting take on the Name. I had always know it as Darby Hollow since I’ve lived in the cove. It’s what our current no wake zone is under anyway.

We have 52 approved from 12x32 up to 16x48+. All permits are done, and Atlas will install the first large dock in the next two weeks, then one new one every 30 days until all 7 are in by summer. About 40 will be plenty deep for lifts.

Don't see how there is enough room back there for individual docks. You can only encroach so far out into a cove which is why they will probably be community docks running the length of the shoreline. The slips towards the very back will probably have too skinny of water during winter drawdown for lifts.

Wife and I love that cove, especially some of the homes on the opposing side with flat lots. All out of our league, especially post-COVID, but a feller can always dream. If we anchor we usually do it just past the end of the current No Wake section towards the end of the cove. Doesn't get too crowded like Evergreen Cove and is close to where our boat's slipped at the 19MM.
