Anybody know how much taller 700sci's are, over a 500efi?

I don't seem to have the dimensions on the 500efi, but I did find some info on a 525. On the 525, the top of the sweeper headers are the highest point at about 23.4" up from crank center. On the 700SCI the highest point is at the back of the supercharger at the flame arrester and it is 27.92" up from crank center. So I would say, about 4.25", give or take a little.

Thanks guys. Might do something crazy... will have to look into this more, and quite a few stars would have to align too.

I see a pair of 700’s in the classifieds calling your name. I say do it!

you have a raised hatch so shouldn't be an issue.........might look into the new 3.8 kits for your 500's, tuned up will probably make more power than the 700's.....Whipple states same height as the headers

I agree.. I know the 3.8 kits worked awesome on my 525's, so they would be a great choice for the 500's. It would be a good way to save some coin and have a great power upgrade..

I got mine before whipple had a price increase, but at the previous pricing through Eddie Young mine were roughly 25k. That included all the extra fittings, upgraded stainless steel fuel tank pickups, larger fuel lines and misc parts needed. I will say dollar for dollar it's the best money I've spent for any upgrade. There's nothing like the feel of them when you roll in to the throttle. I would add drive guardians at the minimum if you have XR drives.
