Torque Engineering V12

Several months ago someone posted pictures of the original Torque Engineering sales literature. I was going to contact him a week latter as he was busy with servicing customers boats. I dropped the ball and failed to get back with him and have lost the contact.

I have one of the last produced 1100hp V12's and would like to get in contact with this gentleman or anyone that has the original spec's on the V12's.
Please help if possible. Email me: [email protected]

I can't lie. There's a part of me that wants that for my 1977 Lincoln.

I had high hopes for those motors when they came out. I liked the idea of big power with a naturally aspirated setup. It was a shame it never went anywhere, kinda' like the V-sixteen engines we're seeing now. With Mercury's 860 being somewhat of a flop, it seems like there's still a place in the market for a 900-1,000hp naturally aspirated engine. I for one would love a set of big inch, 1,000hp NA motors in my 36!

agreed, as long as the reliability stays with them and with the advancements in efi computers it could be an awesome pkg, and the exhaust note is badass.

in the late 30s and early 40s we built very reliable V12s that were 1500 to almost 3000 hp. how many here would love to power a boat with a pair of Allisons or Merlins? if theres interest i will post a dyno run on one, its really educational

love seeing the videos of the old ww2 planes and tanks start, i was always told that they had great top end but lacked low end umph for boats.
