This dude's name has been dragging around here for years, and I mean years, nice to see some resolution finally.

Any idea on where he was indicted? I can’t find anything.

Appears to be Logan County.
This link is a Facebook page dedicated to their fraud.
Seem the Facebook links, never work, so here are two pics from that link if it goes bad.
I searched the Logan county website but that case number doesn't come up, so names and whatnot may not be entered in system.

Interesting turn also after he posted his rant in post # 8 on this thread.

tmmii 07-17-2024 06:38 AM

Plenty of issues before Florida.

I think one of the current victims of fraud may have ordered a boat and been an Ohio resident.
There's been so much as said before on this guy I may be mistaken.
If so, whether it started in Ohio before the move to Florida or not who knows.

He also had the Talon 22 molds before he sold them I guess.
Never heard any more out of that ordeal either.

Todd and Karen Lamb fled to Florida from a long criminal history in Ohio.

Markus 07-18-2024 08:10 AM

Btw, they have been able to defraud a number of Spectre customers despite a track record of repeat crime.

There has been a lot of noise in various online forums over the years, but Todd and Karen Lamb have been able to take cover behind the "there are two sides to every story" bullsh*t.

Also, some folks go ahead and spend a couple of hundred grand without doing any background checks using Google.

larslindroth 07-18-2024 08:17 PM

Todd and Karen Lamb have been busy breaking the law for decades. Ran each of their rap sheet, with the help of a friend, and they've been doing all the crimes

they've been found guilty of together, except a couple that Todd Allen did with others before Karen joined him in committing crimes almost 20 years ago. 10 years

ago Todd A. Lamb and Karen got sentenced for several related felonies committed 8 years earlier. He was looking at 30 years, but his lawyer got the sentence

reduced, and he only served a year. Here's a news article describing that trial. It's amazing that most likely nobody has been killed by these looney tunes. Folks

that lost only hard earned money, while doing boat business deals with them, should basically be stoked that they're still breathing. The $200,000.00 social

security fraud committed by Todd & Karen is just another example of what individuals do that are either drug users or sociopaths. I guess they got his elderly

mother implicated in that scheme.

CRIME
Man sentenced for role in stolen equipment ring.
Kathy Lynn Gray, The Columbus Dispatch.
Published July 11th, 2014.

Eight years after he sold a Wyoming man a hot backhoe, Todd Allen Lamb got his due in court. U.S. District Judge Michael H. Watson

sentenced Lamb, 40, to a year in prison yesterday for stealing large construction equipment and selling it through two companies in Bellefontaine.

Lamb was indicted on 13 counts in 2011 and was set for trial in October when he decided to plead guilty at the last minute to two charges —

transporting a stolen Caterpillar backhoe across state lines and devising a fraudulent-sale scheme on the Internet. His scheme to traffic in Mack trucks,

Caterpillar backhoes and bulldozers was exposed when equipment salesman Dan Rogers bought a backhoe from Lamb in 2006. He realized it was stolen property

after it was delivered to his Buffalo, Wyo., business and he contacted law enforcement. That kicked off a lengthy investigation into Lamb’s operation.

Co-defendant Daniel J. Huffman, 29, of Zanesfield in Logan County, was sentenced in December and ordered to pay $29,500 in restitution.

His sentence was sealed. He pleaded guilty in 2011 to conspiracy to transport stolen vehicles across state lines and was scheduled to testify in Lamb’s trial.

Co-defendant Karen Henry Lamb, 32, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty but both her plea and sentence are sealed. A government court document says

Huffman would have testified that Lamb started a theft ring and had him steal automobiles and other vehicles. Huffman also was expected to testify that

Lamb had ordered him to kill a Grove City businessman who had argued with Lamb over payments, the document said. Another co-conspirator was to

testify that Lamb planned to kill another man and steal his gold, the court document says. The government’s sentencing memorandum in Huffman’s case

said Lamb threatened Huffman and taught him how to locate and steal equipment using master keys he provided. Lamb’s sentencing memorandum was sealed.

Lamb could have been sentenced to 30 years in prison on the two counts.

Update, final judgement for Karen Henry Lamb, and Daniel J. Huffman;

Co-defendant Karen Lamb, 32, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to falsifying a vehicle title and was sentenced to probation. She is Todd Lamb’s wife.

Co-defendant Daniel J. Huffman, 29, of Zanesfield, Logan County, was sentenced in December to a day in jail and ordered to pay $29,500

in restitution jointly with the Lambs.

It's unbelievable that now, 10 years later, all these potential boating enthusiasts were taken to the cleaners by these characters. The legal

system is truly broken. Most defendants would have spent more time in jail if they stole a pizza, got arrested for theft, and had an ounce

of weed in their jacket's pocket, than this criminal couple. Sure hope they don't get out in a year or two this time around. Sending them out West

to a potentially new 'desert storm tent city jail' might do the job?
