Boat was recovered in South Carolina headed North, 3 guys in custody says Todd.

Crazy drama hard to know what is fact and what's not. Both sides seem shady but haven't dug that deep yet.

Todd Lamb Spectre Powerboats posts some convincing posts all over social media.

Terrance Weber has posted links to multiple other supposed negative public records about Todd, his wife and Spectre Powerboats. (I haven't read them all yet) all over social media.

Would be fun to start a thread on here with all the info in one place!

Here's one of many posts and comments

Has anyone figured out who is in the right on this deal yet? Obviously this Todd Lamb fella has been in major trouble in the past, for seemingly similar issues...but that might be damning him with old evidence?

2 sides to every story. Some points that stand out.
1. Buyer stated he kept raising the price after a contract agreement. If this is the case the contract will prevail in court.
2. If Spectre did sell the guy's boat. A check should have been issued to the buyer. Not hold onto the money.
3. The owner of Spectre has had similar past issues and may have had a history of this type of behavior per the buyer who seems to have news articles.
4. The buyer lost his patience with the legal system. Go figure. This country is deteriorating, and no one is doing the right thing. The political system is destroying government.
5. Both guys are attacking each other on social media. The problem now becomes google these names and a lengthy history is tagged to your name for numerous years.
6. Since both gentlemen own a business the destruction of reputation is worth more than the value of the loss.
7. The buyer of the boat by stealing the boat will have his case heard and settled in criminal court in one lump.

This sounds very familiar, with another boat builder from South Florida.

If I were buying a new boat I would not consider Spectre. They are a bunch of money and there are many solid companies to do business with. Even if the claims against Spectre are 100% bull****, it will definitely affect them.

slight correction, Deland is just north of Orlando. It’s not South Florida.

I’ve always liked spectre’s had a lot of seat time in a buddies 36 (he had two). They’re fun boats. The new ones are bad ass. Ran the 32 with ilmors a few years back while testing it with powerboat mag. They’re great boats. But MAN! There is never a shortage of drama wogh
that company. Changing hands, lawsuits, in fighting etc etc. drama just follows that company.

This thread is a Christmas miracle. Makes me really miss the old days of OSO.
Thanks Spectre for being so dysfunctional...
